Guide Book#

The poisonous potato guide is a book given to players when they create a world with the add-on attached. The book explains to players what the poisonous potato add-on is about as well as crafting recipes to make a few poisonous potato-type things being the block, poisonous potato powered wooden sword, and the poisonous potato-powered minecart.

Baked Poisonous Potato#

A baked poisonous potato can give a player who eats it gains 5 hunger as well as a 20% chance to get one of the following effects for 30 seconds:

• Resistance IV
• Speed IV
• Strength IV
• Jump Boost IV
• Regeneration IV
• Invisibility IV
• Night Vision IV
• Health Boost IV
• Absorption IV
• Haste IV
• Fire Resistance IV
• Water Breathing IV

Baked poisonous potatoes can be made in either a regular furnace or a blast furnace with the following recipe:

Nubs#

Regular poisonous potato nubs and explosive poisonous potato nubs are projectiles that can be used to cause damage. Each throw of a nub is logged as a statistic in the Computers Add-On when the add-on is applied.

Regular poisonous potato nubs deal 2 damage on direct impact on an entity and inflicts Fatal Poison V. The duration depends on the world difficulty; easy mode lasts for 100 ticks, normal mode lasts for 200 ticks, and hard mode lasts for 300 ticks.

Explosive nubs also deal 2 damage on direct impact on an entity. When they hit the ground, they will explode in 1-5 seconds with an explosion power of 2.

Poisonous Potato Powered Swords#

Poisonous potato powered swords are twice as powerful as non-poisonous potato swords. They can be crafted by combining a vanilla sword with a poisonous potato.

Poisonous Potato Stew#

This stew can be consumed to give the player who drank it 4 hunger and a 20% chance for each effect listed below to be added for two minutes.

• Strength
• Jump Boost
• Regeneration
• Invisibility
• Night Vision
• Health Boost
• Absorption
• Slow Falling
• Haste
• Fire Resistance
• Water Breathing

The max item stack size is one.

Blocks#

All of the blocks in the add-on are craftable with poisonous potatoes and are all decorative.

Poisonous Potato Portrait#

These portraits act the same way as paintings, except there is only one image: a poisonous potato. They take 0.75 seconds to destroy and have no explosion resistance.

Poisonous Potato Block#

Poisonous potato blocks are purely decorative full blocks and do not serve any other purposes.

Poisonous Potato Carpet#

Poisonous potato carpets act the same way as regular carpets. They have almost the same recipe; the only difference is that the wool is instead poisonous potato blocks.

Poisonous Potato Table#

These tables appear to be supported by iron bars. They take two seconds to mine and have a explosion resistance of 50.

Poisonous Potato Lamp#

Poisonous potato lamps are decorative luminous blocks with a light emission level of 15 (the highest ilumination level). They also have an explosion resistance of 50.

Entities#

Poisonous Potato Powered Minecart#

A poisonous potato powered minecart can be used for fast traveling on land. The steering wheel can be removed and added visually with the wrench item. When the minecart is punched, its item drops.

Mutato#

The Mutato is a mutant potato as a joke reference to the Mutant Mob series. The Mutato has a 2% chance of spawning from breaking fully-grown potato crops and has 60 health. Alternatively, their "spawn egg" can be crafted and used to spawn the Mutato. When attacked, the Mutato will fight back and deal 7 damage per hit with poison for 15 seconds.

There is a 33% chance to tame a Mutato using a single potato or poisonous potato. Similar to pets, it can be healed using food, be put on a leash, and be told to sit.

Poisonous Potato Balloon#

This balloon slowly floats up in the air and can be ridden once placed. It can be popped in one hit.

Furniture#

Some furniture pieces are considered entities: the poisonous potato couch and the poisonous potato chair. Both can be interacted with to sit on.

Poisonous Potato Chair#

The chair has the equivalent size of one full block and can be sat on. The backing added and removed by using a wrench; the backing is off by default.

The couch is two blocks wide and can be sat on. The backing added and removed by using a wrench; the backing is on by default.
